Dirtbusters is an environmentally aware, family run business. We offer cleaning products for those necessary chores and for lifestyle passions. From home owners to petrol heads, and from surfers to sailors – Dirtbusters will help you practice your passions. Trust us to provide a professional and safe solution, every day.
Where it all started
Dirtbusters was established in 1986 by Gavin Finch. 19-year-old Gavin cleaned ovens & carpets in his local area. Business was successful but over the years, Gavin became fed up with using caustic cleaning chemicals.
This sparked a vision for Dirtbusters, and so a new journey began…
Using years of experience & expertise, Gavin worked alongside a chemist to develop Dirtbusters' first line of non-caustic cleaning products for professionals in the industry.

After organic growth Dirtbusters expanded into the domestic market in 2010.
Today, Dirtbusters manufactures cleaning products for the home, for your lifestyle and for professional cleaners. We constantly work alongside our chemists to provide professional standard products whilst being as environmentally aware as possible.

In addition to Dirtbusters Professional Cleaning Products, we train and guide new business startups in the cleaning industry. Our training center provides the perfect place to learn all about oven & carpet cleaning from the professionals as well as gaining business advice to support you in your new business venture.
Family Run
As the brand has expanded, Gavin has involved his family members – his daughter, Icenie runs the headoffice, and eldest son, Kieron, is our brand director.
The family dog, Otis, is one of the most hardworking team members. He comes into the office every day!
It is a core value to the Dirtbusters team to make all those involved with the business, be that employee or customer, to feel part of our Dirtbusters family.

Our lifestyle products have been developed through personal interests of the Dirtbusters family. Each of us have our own hobbies and passions.
We test every one of our products to make sure they are effective and easy to use for your lifestyle.
Environmentally Aware
One of our goals is to have as little impact on the environment as we can.
Not only do we aim to make our cleaning solutions safe, non-toxic and as friendly as possible to the earth, we also find ways to give back to the environment in our daily routine.
We recently moved location to a self-sufficient farm in the countryside. It’s completely solar powered and we even have our own veg patch! Head over to our blog post to find out about these recent changes, including our kitchen made from recycled PET bottles.
We organise regular beach cleans in our local area and we support the charity Surfers Against Sewage - we’re a proud member of their SAS 250 club.
